This 230 year old thatched house is home to a lovely restaurant with great views overlooking the river. The specialities change with the seasons in spring you can dine on mountain plants and salt grilled masu trout, in summer enjoy salt grilled ayu (sweetfish) seasonal mushroom dishes in autumn, and wild boar hotpot in winter. The couple who run it are very freidnly and helpful, they also sell local sake here.
