Miyama folklore museum

Miyama's thatched village which locates in Kita was designated as a Japanese cultural heritage site in 1993. 
The total number of 39 thatched houses still survive and local people still live in them.
As most of the house are residential house you have a few place to see the inside & backside of the house.
This museum was originally built in 19th century.
You can see the old rooms, Barn, Bath room, Bed room and etc.
The lady in the museum speaks a little English and welcome you with local harb tea.
